Important Note
Am-Can Business & LMS Services Management, the right to change and amend its Terms of Service at any time as it may deem suitable. In case any changes and alterations in Terms of Service occur, Can-Am Data will always inform its customers via an email or an update. Any user, if after the modification in the Terms of Service still uses Can-Am Data; it will be treated as an agreement between Can-Am Data and user on the new Terms of Service.
Can-Am Data Privacy Policy
This Am-Can policy sets out how Can-Am Data uses and protects any information that you provide to us.
The Am-Can is committed to ensuring that your right to Can-Am Data and confidentiality is protected. Any personal identifiable information (PII) by which you can be identified is regulated by the Data Protection Act (and from 25 May 2018, by the General Data Protection Regulation). You can be assured that the Am-Can will only use your information in compliance with these laws and accordance with this Can-Am Data policy.
The Am-Can may change its policy from time to time and will always endeavor to let you know that changes have been made. But you should check this website from time to time to review this policy to ensure that you are still happy with how we manages and protects your information. This Can-Am Data policy is effective from March 2018.
The information we collect is necessary for us to be able to provide you with the service you require, for the effective management of Am-Can Business & LMS Services Management and to fulfil our conservation work. Refer to the section below ‘What we do with your information’ for further details.
Where we collect your information from
The following are the different sources we may collect personal data about you from:
Directly from you. This is information you provide to us when you become a member, sign up for one of our events, purchase products.
Indirectly from you. You may give us your information indirectly when you contribute to Am-Can These independent third parties will pass your data to Am-Can where you have indicated that you wish to support Am-Can and have given your consent or it is a necessary part of completing a contract with you.
From an agent/third party acting on your behalf. We may obtain information about you from a third party in relation to conservation projects and other interests of Am-Can.
Anti-Fraud Policy
Am-Can reserves its right to allow any one as an exception to get an account, on receipt of government issued IDs or landline phone. Anyone who tries to bypass the conditions therein will immediately get his account terminated. All fraudulent activities may be reported to the respective police and related law enforcement authorities.
Limited Liability
Am-Can shall not be liable under any circumstances for any special, consequential, incidental or punitive damages arising out of or in any way connected with this Agreement and/or any services and products that you may choose to purchase or use, including but not limited to: damages for lost profits, loss of service use, loss of data, loss of Am-Can, damages to third parties. This limited liability clause shall apply even if Can-Am Data has been notified of the possibility of any claims. In no event shall Can-Am Data’s maximum liability exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the service or the product.
